Had my first book signing of the year at Hudson R-9 in Appleton City. The children there are very smart and asked a lot of questions. We had drawings for free books and magnets.
I took my daughter, Tammi, with me and the children asked her a lot of questions about the stories. They all wanted her autograph. She told me, "Gee Mom, I feel almost famous!"
We had a great time and hope to go back next year when the third and last book of this series is out. The book should be out later this year.
I really do wish to thank everyone for their encouragement.
I will have more signings this year, will try to keep this updated.

June the 9th I will be at Barnes and Nobles in Independence, Missouri with fellow author Cindy Bauer. June the 23rd we will be at Borders Express in Independence. It would be a great time to buy a book and meet two authors!
On May 12, 2007 I will be at Hastings Book Store in Warrensburg, Missouri doing a book signing from 12:00-3:00 pm. Come out and join us!
On March 5, 2007, I have been invited to speak at the Clinton Garden Club about my book and how it came about. Never having done something like this before, I am nervous and excited. I hope to keep them entertained plus let them know how the book came about and how I managed to get it published. Wish me luck!

Today I went to visit the children at the Hudson R-9 School in Appleton City, Missouri. I had a great time. I read different stories to different classes throughout the day and we talked about my life, their life, writing a book, and just about every subject that they could think of.
I do not know the last time I spent such an enjoyable day. The kids were entertaining and very smart...................Thank you Hudson R-9!
